    Default Selection tool

I messed with some of my search sets to make my clash tests a little more specific. Afterward, any time I select an item in the model, it selects every item in that .nwd file. I can't select a single item anywhere in the model. I can still select single items from the selection tree.

    Try changing your selection resolution.

Go to Global Options>Interface>Selection and change the resolution to first object or something lower on the list. See if that helps. You can also do this in the selection tree, by right clicking on the object name and clicking on the Set Selection Resolution to XXXX.

    Cheers

You can also SHIFT-click (multiple times) on the item and Navisworks will cycle through the different levels from the whole model down to the individual piece of geometry.
