cannot find procedure

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this but here it goes.

I was having some issues opening drawings with 2010 (getting corrupted data but drawing opens fine with R14) so I re-installed it and now when I open a drawing I get all these messages (seems like for every xref within the drawing.)

C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010\AeccRoadway.dbx cannot find a procedure
that it needs.

I get the same message for every .dbx file in the civil 3d folder. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Corrupted User Profile...?

Did you by chance hit the "Civil 3D as Autocad" icon at some point, and then try to open a drawing by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer?

If so, try starting C3D using the "Civil 3D" shortcut, and then browse to the drawing inside of C3D to open it.

using the civil 3d icon is a totally different problem. i get other errors and it crashes before I can even get a chance to browse for a file to open.

I thought having both 2009 and 2010 on the same machine was causing some conflicts so I uninstalled both and just re-installed 2010.
