Hehud,
I hope you don't mind me saying, but i think it is a little misleading to quote these as being rendered in mental ray/revit when you have stated elsewhere you used photoshop for the planting and touch ups etc... i don't have an issue with anyone using photoshop, but it is better to make that clear so people reading this have a clear understanding of what can be produced in and outside of the program this forum is dedicated to.
As it turns out, i liked the tree... but that is photoshop it seems.. building is a good rendering, but clearly not the same impact without the tree.
Aren't you being too tough? I don't find anything wrong in him posting the rendering when some photoshop work is done....he didn't write...all done in revit! There are tons of people posting here with some photoshop work...not always it is mentioned that some work in the rendering was done in photoshop.
Anyways, Hehud, I actually like the first render with the trees, but I think the trees don't look good...not the right resolution or with the right hue....so I guess I prefer the mental ray rendering over the photoshop...
yes, i am probably being a bit tough by slecting just one person to make a point.... but i guess when you have an image where the sky, trees and tonal adjutments are done in photoshop... it leaves little to to atttibute to revit in the picture... the gallery is i would suspect primarily intended as a forum for revit renderings (not maxwell, 3ds or artlantis etc)... the point is that if we are to use 3rd party programs all the time we should be really be submitting with qualifications or submitting to photoshop galleries... but perhaps this is just my view... but isn't that the point of a forum.. to discuss these kind of things
Mark I think you've been sufficiently polite and spot-on. I always tend to like renderings better when the creator elaborates on the strong points and how they were achieved. Else it's just a 'nice pic, what will I have for lunch' moment while it could contain enough information to base some of your own research on.
Ok no problemes i understand
soo Yes trees Sky background and a little glow add with photoshop
