Default How to configure a plotter.

    Hi.

This is my first post here, i hope i am not asking that question everyone asks....

I have autocad 2009, and i just bought a hp designjet 4000. I am trying to configure it, i have several questions, i hope you can answer them or point me to a place where all my questions are answered.

1- how do indicate the plotter that it shall cut the paper when the plot area is over? so that if i print a A4 size drawing in a A1, the plotter cuts the paper when the drawing is over.

Welcome to AUGI. I'm guessing the first place to look is in your printer driver settings. If it contains a customize button or options...look in there for paper saving conditions. This is a guess because I'm not on 2009 nor do I have an hp designjet 4000.

I think the settings are on the 4000, select roll - paper handling options - then Enable Track Media Length.
