    Default Minsert Losing Block Properties

I have a tool that puts in multiple blocks of preset sized circles. After a while when I try to snap to the center of these blocks, AutoCAD loses the properties of the blocks and snaps to 0,0. Even trying to snap the nearest doesn't work anymore.

I have no clue on why this works for a while, then just stops. If I close the drawing and reopen the snaps work for a while longer then quits again. Wouldn't be a problem but this happens 3-4 times in a day. I'm able to list the block, and change the properties if I want (columns, rows, spacing), but the center or nearest is always back to 0,0 unless I reopen the drawing.

Could it be a combination of a large file and a small amount of RAM ?

I don't think that is the issue. This is happening on other computers as well that use this block. Most of the computers have at least 2g of ram and the drawing files are quite small.

I'm trying to track down if using this same block several times in the same drawing is causing the issue. It just happens. It's like the objects in the Minsert block are not there. But like I said, just a close and open of the drawing file corrects the snap issue.

This is a shot in the dark...

These circles that you ar trying to snap to, are they on layer DEFPOINTS by any chance? If so, it could be that Layer 0 could be Off or Frozen which causes objects on Layer Defpoints to be non-selectable.

Again... a shot in the dark.

The OTHER possibility is that your blocks may be outside the drawing LIMITS
