Default Lisp to OPEN and excel file from AutoCAD

I've seen a lot of routines that link AutoCAD with excel, I'm just looking for a simple lisp that opens a file from windows explorer. It's an excel file that I want to open up from a button or pull-down in AutoCAD. Maybe a simple macro or lisp routine?
