Default Tiff image insert degrades at large scale

I inserted a black & white tiff image of a DOT haz mat symbol into a dwg floorplan file. Close up, the image looks fine, but when printed on my Epson 3800 injet printer the image degrades and becomes undeciferable.

Any ideas about what I can do to fix this? I've tried inserting jpg and gif files, instead of tiff, but get the same results.

you probably bneed to get your IT guys to up the printing resolution (DPI) in your printer drivers. Its not an autocad thing.
