Service Pack Install Error

Can not install any of the 3 updates for AA2009? Get the error," The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer. Make sure you are using the correct service pack for the product." I am using 64bit AA2009 on a VIsta machine and downloaded the service packs for 64 bit but get this error when trying to run any of them. One thing I am trying to fix is the SDI "0" which opens a new sessions of AutoCAD from explorer when in explorer even though the SDI is set to 0.

I have found out at the office today that I get the same error on my 32bit XP machine here also.

Just ignore the error. Everyone gets the error, but the service pack should have installed. After installing it, try re-installing the service pack and it should tell you that you are up to date. You should only need to install the most recent one.

I really don't think everyone gets that message, but either way it's not installing. I get the same error no matter how many times I try to install the pack.

I am getting this message on Windows 7 64bit and I am trying to install the service packs for Autocad 2010. Has any solution been found? The service packs are not being installed.

Are you using AutoCAD Architecture 2010? If so, make certain you are installing the AutoCAD Architecture update, and not the "plain" AutoCAD update.
