    Default 2005 Arx Question

I am trying to learn ARX and i have a quick question. Can i use C++ 6 to create arx files for AutoCAD 2005? I keep getting the following error message: "incompatible with this version of AutoCAD". Thanks

    Cool Re: 2005 Arx Question

I found out that you need the Visual C++ version 7 or as it is called Visual Studio .net 2002, I have the 2003 and had to get a downgrade to 2002 from Microsoft. That should work.

    Hi

Might want to take a look at the August 2005 ATP offering "ATP086 ObjectARX for Dummies" - Current ATP Courses.
