This fixed my issue too. I was working on civil 3d with civil dwgs (feet) and structural drawings (inches)

To work with different units in Civil 3D:

- Open the drawing.
- Go to "Drawing Settings" in the "Settings" tab.
- Navigate to the "Units and Zone" tab.
- Set the desired units for each component (feet for civil, inches for structural).
- Click "OK" to apply the changes.
