Raster Images with AutoCAD LT

Hi, there!

I need a menu to work with raster images in AutoCAD LT 2005, for example insert raster images, clipping options and modify image properties. When I type ... _image, the image manage doesn't allows me to browse or insert images into the drawing.

How to add these features in a menu that can be LTXpress or whatever name would be called?

If you enter

_imageattach

do you not get a standard file selectiond dialog?

If no check your filedia and cmddia settings to be 1(on)

Tried it - got "unkown command". Still baffled.

As far as I can tell, LT is very limited in its ability to handle images. Probably the only way to get some of these functions is with a 3rd party app.

As far as I'm aware AutoCAD LT does not have the following commands for working with Images -

ImageAttach, ImageClip, ImageQuality, ImageAdjust, Transparency

If you follow the link given in my above post you will find some very useful information on working with Image files within AutoCAD LT.

Slingshot adds the ability to LT to insert images. Its free. It also enables a few other things as well.
