    Default Matchline labels

I am having issues with the match line labels displaying on BOTH sides of the matchline. So in my plan view I have 4 matchline labels, 2 on each side of my 2 matchlines. I have never had this problem before, I just relied on Civil 3d's magic to show only the outermost matchline (on top of the masked hatch) on each side and it worked. Does anyone know how to edit matchline labels so they will not display the matchline used for the previous or following sheet? Thanks.

Go back to 2009? I just discovered this one as well while I was setting up some styles for a client. Anyoing isn't it. If you are on subscription, open a support request so Autodesk knows that people are having this issue.

The only workaround I know of is to use a bunch of different layers and styles with the different layers and do viewport freezes. Sucks, I know.

Don't know if this is your problem or not, I've done that before by first creating viewframes, then I created sheets, and then I modified the alignment and recreated the viewframes, but I never recreated the sheets. The matchlines only appear properly if you create sheets after you create viewframes.

    Question Re: Matchline labels

Has there been any resolution to this problem? I have a 7 mile alignment and I really don't want to have to recreate another sheet set. Anybody hear anything?

This issue should have been fixed by the first service pack to C3D 2010. Have you installed your service packs? (There are three, but you should only need to install Updates 2 and 3.1).

    Sinc,
Thanks for the advice. I unfortunately don't have admin rights so I asked my IT department to check on the service packs. They were installed last night and it seems to have fixed the problem.

    Thanks for the post.
