    Is it possilbe to have two different section cut materials as set in the site settings for topo surfaces that are adjacent to each other.

    You mean a different poche? Don't think so. To achieve this you need to use filled regions. We sometimes show backfill material as a different earth type graphic in afilled region but anything else we just show as a straightforward topo section and then draw in detail where required.
