Text Issues

Hi all,

We have a strange issue occuring wih one of our projects at the minute.
A medium size project with 4 members. We had one of the staff create the title block and as this was a new client we created it rom scratch.

The user designed and created the title block family with a particular standard font, which seemed to work great.

Now for some reason, that user and one other is having trouble witht he fonts when they plot, so 50% of the team cannot print hardcopies because the fonts get messed up.

It seems wierd that the person who created the family intially is having font problems.
Has this hapened to anyone else?

Any Ideas?

it is a little strange, but I would start with the font you are using, what happens if you change the font to Arial?

ah, there lies another strange aspect.
It appears that all fonts in the project are being replaced with Arial.
The issue is now that none of the ref text fits into the symbols etc etc.

that is odd... only time I've seen text change to Arial is if the file is opened on a computer that does not have that particular font installed on the machine.

We use an Architext font for most everything, but if I open a file on a new computer or a computer that hasn't had Revit installed on it before, it always reverts back to Arial.

Are you sure all the fonts in use are installed on all machines?

Yeah, positive. Thats what is so wierd, the machine effected the most is the machine that the familys and project were set up in, and all the fonts were fine originally.

Not sure what is going on.
Will keep investigating
