Your framing must be on the same plane. You can then use edit beam joins and extend the framing with the end condition arrows to achieve a mitre connection

But you must have the framing at the same plane and the analytical line should be a common point, you can use trim to achieve this

One more thing, that I have tested 100%, but I think the two members have to be the same size. Revit won't miter a W24 and a W12.

Not only do both beams you would like to miter have to be the same size, they must also have the same name. Sometimes a duplicate and rename a beam beacuse I want the tag to contain extra text ie. I change a W8X10 to W8X10 BKT. Revit will not miter a W8X10 to a W8X10 BKT. because their names a different.

    Yes that is correct...
I was trying to connect a column to beam mitre connection, doesn’t work.
Is there any other option to connect mitre connection by cutting the end of column/beam by 45% or something?

You could set up a ref-plane and cut the beam using 'cut geometry'
