    Unhappy Window Hatching

I am trying to get the glazing on my windows to hatch solid in elevation so that when I plot it will show up shaded, but when I generate the elevation, the hatch does not show up. Is there some toggle to diplay solid hatch? I am currently using a user defined dense cross hatch to achive a similar look, but there are so many lines it takes a long time to generate.

I believe one must apply a display override to thos windows to display
    the the glazing as desired.
This document says 'mulions', pretty sure it applies here as well.

I have already applied an override on the windows. I also tried to get a wall style to display a solid hatch in elevation, but the hatch did not show up.

    Wink Re: Window Hatching

I would try modifying the material to show solid hatch.

in the material definition I have an override on, the surface hatch is on, and the hatch pattern is solid fill, but it still does not show up when I generate the elevation

Seems like A LONG time since this thread was active but I have the same problem, any time I try to set a material's surface hatch pattern to solid it won't show in a generated elevation. If I look at it in a front view I see the hatch but not in a generated elevation. I would appreciate help on this!

I don't think solid hatch will work in generated elevations. Try using a lined hatch pattern, but set the scale so small that it looks solid. .

They do not; use Dan's suggestion as the work around.

I wondered about that because I have tried this another time on something else and a solid hatch didn't work. That's kind of crazy, isn't it?
