    it is most likely a field as its the default

    the test scaling seems to be working properly now, its the label field thats causing the issues

    i didnt create the styles, but im trying to fix them

    I believe that references the drawing (MS) scale. You'd want something that references the viewport scale.

    Ah! I get it! This is what you are seeing. It's not the SIZE of the label...

    I think you're stuck doing it manually. Unfortunately, you can't put expressions into the label portion of a profile view style (at least not that I've been able to find).

    We don't have that in our templates...... Did Autodesk do it or whoever created your template?

    i think it was copied from the default

    Playing around with it a bit, you can put an expression in a profile view label that gets the viewscale and then another expression that gets the viewscale/10. I this image, two viewports, different scales, same profile view and same label:
