Default How to show Light Switches on RCP

What is the best way to show Light Switches on the RCP? Should I just add the invisible line or maybe just adjust the view range (and then turn off unwanted objects)? What is the best way to accomplish this? I dont want to raise them in elevation if I can avoid it because I want them to be placed accurately when generating elevation views.

Add a vertical invisible model line to the family. Make sure it extends high enough to be "cut" by the RCP plan view.
