Hi!
So can i take the Tec 60AD comp Aid Dsgn & drafting and get a certificate or apply for a job with it? Or is the revit a program a lbcc and i would have to take additional classes or get my a.a degree even though i have my b.s. in mechanical engineer?
Classes might be OK but why not just do what so many others do. Get on amazon.com and type in "revit 2010", buy some books on Revit and study them. You'll learn Revit pretty fast and have some fun along the way. Just not that difficult. That's how I learned along with lots of thread searching on AUGI. Good luck.

Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate and should have a firm understanding of the most tools in Revit, some topics we do not get into during the first semester.
Many of my students have a background in the industry and some of those are able to find employment upon completion of the course.
You said that you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.......this class only covers Revit Architecture, but I have had other trades in my class that said learning Revit Architecture helped them to learn the other Revit platforms.

Have you contacted your local Autodesk resellers? Most of them have courses for the software they sell. For instance in my area there are several resellers that offer 2 or 3 day classes on Revit. I'd suggest contacting the reseller that sold you Revit or going to this Autodesk webpage for locating a reseller in your area: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...112&id=1088201
