iPart - Variable angle problem

Using Inventor Professional 2008, I'm trying to create an iPart (for some handrailing) and I keep running into a problem with a user variable angle.

I've created a very simple sweep along a path consisting of 2 straights and a fillet. It is the angle between the 2 straights that I wish to vary (between 30 and 90 degrees). The part works fine and updates properly when I manually alter the angle in the parameters dialog for any angle between 30 to 90 degrees.

However, when I publish the part to the Content Centre and set the custom column properties to [30;90;1;90] and then place the part from the Content Centre into an assembley, the dialog will not accept values between 31 to 61 (text turns red and OK button not available) but will accept values of 30 and 62 - 90.

Anyone else had this experience? I've had similar problems with other parts using a variable angle whereby inserting it from the CC it will accept angles of 119 and 121 but not 120. Quite bizzare.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've partially solved this one. Changed custom column properties from [30;90;1;90] to [30;90;;90] and it works for all values between 30 to 90, even decimals.

It does still raise the question of how to fix the increment in steps of 1 degree though.

Have raised it with AutoDesk and will await any feedback from them.
