    Default Dynamic Columns

In Autocad 2010 it seems as though MText objects have dynamic columns set as the default.

I can change this setting for each piece of text. Is there a way of setting no columns as the default?

Just found out you set mtextcolumn to zero to fix this

Another problem i have is if mtext is left justified and the text has spaces in front of it the insertion point is to the left of the spaces, if it is right justified and there are spaces to the right of the text the insertion point ignores the spaces

If I use dtext it works as I want, but I would prefer to use mtext.

Does anyone know a way around this??

    Thanks for your help

have you tried ending with a non-breaking space instread of a "normal" space? Insert that from the symbols menu in mtext editor...
