I had to do the same action that ramon took to fix the problem, I think it'd be great if Logitech made an "AutoCAD" mouse, I think they have some really good products, but you end up having to sacrifice some of the features that you may have purchased the mouse for. I personally use the Logitech cordless MX Laser which has some really cool features but I found that I had to uninstall the mouse software "SetPoint" in order to be efficient with AutoCAD. Oh well, sometimes you have to do what you have to do, right?

Do what some of the others said with the middle mouse button, but also in AutoCAD...there is a variable that sets the wheel mouse to realtime pan.

Type in "mbuttonpan" and make sure that's not set to <0> but rather set to <1>. That will solve your problem.

Setting it to middle button did the trick for me.
I now have the logitech funtionality and the cad settings I want.

( I see also in a related post for the MX1000 that the same solution prevailed. )

MBUTTONPAN needs to be set to 1 for you to pan with the center scroll

It´s strange that a big company like Logitech have such problems with their remotes (not generic blutetooth) and with remote functionality towards win7 - 64 bit.

    PROBLEM - WIN7 -64
I had to throw away my two Logitech mouse/keyboard set because logitech couldn´t supply me tranceivers that would work with win 7 - 64bit. The sets was originally bought in norway for USD 300 for each set.

PROBLEM LOOSING PAN FUNCTIONALITY IN AUTOCAD/REVIT
An other problem is that Logitech Setpoint drivers by default disable the pane function in this programs. There are som solutions on this on the web (not supplied by logitech) - disappointing !1

The web are full of people reporting problems towards this.

Now I´m no longer trust Logitech so I have surched the web for different solutions and here are some that several people reccomend :

    1) Evoulent Verticalmouse

    2) Razer Naga
