Default Turning up the way of joining of grading object corners

    Good day!
Using Land Desktop we had a possibility to select a type of joining of grading object corners.
E.g. straight, chamfer, fillet or w/o joining.
I could not find such a feature in Civil 3D, but I really need it, because it's not possible for me to use fillet corners joining (by default in Civil 3D).
    I need straight joining.
    How I can select it?

    Regards, Andrew

Send in a feature request to Autodesk asking for this feature, then wait for a future version of C3D that might do it.

If you are on subscription, open a support request.

I'm told the best way to give feedback to Autodesk is to get to personally know a member of the development team, and send them a personal email. This makes the software developer in me scream out in protest, because that's one of the worst setups you could ever aim for in a software company, but it's what I've been told.

You can also submit an entry to the wishlist here at AUGI, but it might not make it to the top ten and get submitted to Autodesk.

    You can also try this:

Better yet, do all of the above, and get everyone you know to do all of the above, too. Reports to Autodesk seem to go into a holding bin. Then, if they get the same complaint from a lot of different people, they start looking at it. So getting a LOT of people to report the same issue is probably the most-effective way of getting something changed.

Oh, and there's also this forum on Autodesk's site:

In general, I'd like to encourage people to report as many issues as possible to Autodesk.

Recently, another Autodesk user was talking with one of the Support staff, and mentioned something about the Cogo Point selection bug - you know, the one where selecting Cogo Points causes problems if the Properties palette is open. This is a bug that many C3D users are well aware of, so much so that we automatically close the Properties palette whenever we work with Cogo Points.

The member of Autodesk's support staff was unaware of any such problem.

Meanwhile, we've been dealing with the problem ever since the release of C3D 2009, and it's come up many times on various discussion groups. The problem and workaround are rathere well-known. But Autodesk was completely unaware there was any problem. It seems the problem was so well known that everyone apparently assumed Autodesk must know about it, and no one reported it.
