Default Save Timeline Position on Save/Open

    Description:

Have the option of saving the position of the timeline slider when saving a scene file. Upon opening that file, the slider returns to the position it was at when last saved.

    How Used:

I imagine it would be as simple as a check box in the Files Handling part of the Files tab in the Preferences dialog box.

    Feature Affinity:

    Saving/Opening, File Management

Not sure if this will help you or not but you can setup time tags on the time line in MAX. Right next to the adaptive degradation button there is a spot that says add time tag...if you right click this area on the frame that you want you can add a tag with a description at that frame. Right clicking and choosing edit will allow you to see all the tags created and edit them. Once you create some tags they will show up once you right click in that area so that you can easily jump to the specified/tagged frame. Hope this helps.

You can also go to the time configuration and enter the first frame you want in "start".
    Can this help?

    Ciao

The suggestions help, but still make me find the appropriate time when I open the file. I use timeline tags, but I normally use them for main changes in the animation, not just as a quick bookmark for when I close the scene for the day and re-open it in the morning.
