Annotative Blocks in Tables

Hi,

Not sure if this question has been answered and I haven't been able to find any answers elsewhere.

When I try to insert an annotative custom block into a table (ex. legend) an error pops up that says Annotative Blocks cannot be inserted into tables. Was wondering if there was a setting that needed to be modified to allow the blocks to be inserted.
