    Default Schedule Level?? What?

Can anyone explain what the function of the instance parameter information item under the OTHER category labeled "Schedule Level" is? Take a look at the attached pic...this is for the highlighted return grille.

It looks like someone added a parameter for showing what level the grille was on in a schedule. I don't know exactly why this would be done but that's what it looks like.

Schedule level is a default field that just shows what level the offset or elevation is reference from. It is only there for reference. You have the ability to use it as a filter tool in schedules if you keep up with make sure all the things are referencing the correct level.

Add it to your schedule (Fields tab) and then the Filter tab in Schedule Properties will display it among the choices for filtering criteria. This way you can restrict a schedule to reporting a single floor's fixtures.
