    Default Export Coordinates

    Hello,

Is there a way to export all the points/coordinates of a polyline to a excel or a txt file? How I now figured out it's only possible to export the start and the end point of a PL. With a closed polyline it's obvious the same. But I need also all the points in between.

Not sure if this is built into Map, but in the meantime, this will work.

And it is easier/quicker than trying to do it in Map3D using Map3D tools.

You can try the EATTEXT command.

It will extract data about objects into a txt file, a csv or an xls file. You pick the file type and the data you want to extract from the objects.

In your case, start the EATTEXT command, jump through the hoops. Select the polyline as the object you want data of. Eventually you will be able to select the vertices of the polyline and get there x,y,z data into a file, or just into a table in your drawing.
