    Post Multiline Text Attributes

I am trying to use the multiline text attribute function in a dynamic-annotative block. We are trying to restrict/dictate the boundary width for the text to maintain office standards however the boundary width size does not scale up with the block to the annotative scale. If someone could offer some helpful ways to solve this I would really appreciate it.

any chance you can post the block. I dont have time right now to create a block from scratch that does what you are wanting. Typically we dont use dynamic blocks in that fashion (mostly because I havent gotten around to converting a lot of our stuff.)

Sure. My goal here is to make an annotated multileader that has a callout symbol and space for a multiline text (that is how our office standard is). I also want it to be attributes so I can edit individual ones. The only way I can do this is if I create a custom attribute block that my multileader style references. It works fine, until draw a multileader at a different annotation scale. The boundary width for my multiline attribute text does not scale up, and creates a real funky looking text. I've attached a file explaining all this stuff.

it is difficult to tell, but edit your block, select the attribute, and in the properties palette, select constant and see if that does it for you

sorry about that I'm way off, let me try something else

I'm not seeing any simple way to do it, it appears as though the width is not modified, then it creates 2 columns, if you modify the width of the object on the right, you can get it to go back to one column. Possibly it could be done with a dynamic block, but I'm not sure how.

That looks OK, but I can not edit the multiline text, because it is constant.
