    Angry Timeline- edit link to the new update program file, lose the Task type and attached link

    Timeline- edit link to the new update program file, why the task type and Attached will lose all. the link.

    What should I do to keep the task type and attached while edit the new program link.

    You shouldn't lose data if it is the same program with modifications to existing activities, but if you are trying to update with a copy, or if your unique ID's are changing, it will not work.

    What scheduling software are you using?

    Are you editing the link or updating the tasks? Make sure you right click and specify "synchronize tasks from link". This should keep all of your task types and attached objects intact.
