Display linked element information at the status bar
Summary: Display the element's information at the status bar when selecting an element in a linked model the same as when selecting an elements in the current model.
Description: Display the element's information at the status bar when selecting an element in a linked model the same as when selecting an elements in the current model.
How Used: As an MEP user we need to link the other disciplines' models, but determining the category of an object in the linked model is not simple.
Currently we need to select the object and then view its properties in a static, un-resizable dialog to attempt to view its category.
It does us no good to select a linked model's element and look at the status bar to see the linked model's information. We selected an element of the model, not the linked model itself.
