    Question Multi-Category Schedules

Does anyone know a solution to getting system families such as walls, stairs, floors, and roofs on a multi-category Schedule?

I often need to edit a shared parameter for all the objects in my drawing and I would like to edit the parameters from one schedule.

I have been looking for the same thing but have not found a solution other than exporting and messing around with the files after... not ideal at all.

The straight forward answer is...IT'S NOT POSSIBLE.

BUT...there is a work around. Create a Material Takeoff Schedule and include just 1 of the material parameters and use that schedule for internal changes, like you mentioned. Let me know if you need a deeper explanation.

even using material takeoff, some elements still cannot be included, see below link
