I am not able to install AutoCAD 2010 on my copy of Windows 7 rc build 7100 32-bit. It crashes with an error stating that I must have .net 3.5 installed. Windows 7 comes with .net 3.5 already, it doesn't show in the add/remove but rather in a separate area similar to XP's "add/remove Windows components". I've toggled this, installed .net 3.5 and 3.5 sp1 redistributables.
From what I gather, AutoCAD 2010 installs fine on Windows 7 64-bit.
I believe that it won't install because the installer cannot find .net 3.5 among the listed installed apps.
I am using a network deployment, but have the same results when installing straight off the AutoCAD disk.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Does anyone know where the installer checks for .net 3.5? i.e. is it a registry key I could create?
Thanks
