Question BS Object Viewer, but with Acadm 2005?

In Building Systems, as you all know, there exists the shortcut menu object viewer. I would like to know if there is a replica in Acad Mechanical 2005, or the capabilities of creating one. I'm using a plug-in called QuickPen Pipe Designer 3D and it would be a handy tool.

From my quick search, this function is available in
ADT (and ABS) and Land Desktop
It is not available in Mechanical.

However, try this select the object you wish,
and then enter 3d Orbit, it should isolate the
object you have selected for rotation.

Unhappy Re: BS Object Viewer, but with Acadm 2005?

That does work to isolate a view of a specific area, but what I'm trying to avoid is the regen lag that occures after a 3d-orbit. My machine has 3.5 Gigs of RAM and a top of the line processor but orbit takes 20 sec. to start and 20 to end its command. This pipe designer software is really cool, but it sure eats up the computers speed. Anyway, when I was using the building systems the object viewer was a quick and efficient way to "see" part or parts of the drawing and I appreciate any advise fellow AUGI's could give.
