line tool greyed out in 2010 classic menu

I can't seam to get model lines to work with the classic menu, either by typing L, or using the menu, which is greyed out.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Steve,

It is one of the commands which is inactive in the Classic mode. There is a sizable thread http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=104982 on the various issues and work arounds.

Yeah as I suspected, deadlines and such, just thought I was going mad. This swapping from 2009 > 2010 is a pita.

Will just have to bite the bullet and get on with the pretty ribbon.

It's not as bad as it sounds. It takes time to get use to it but once you nail it it's no biggie just inconsistent
