problems when changing from custom family to custom family

we´ve created some complex windows families, with many types, parameters and formulas.
the families often have parameters with the same name.
each family works perfectly when we change the types, but the problem comes when we try to change from one custom window family to a different custom window family. we have two situations: the message "can´t make type" appears, or the family is changed but it is shown with errors in the geometry (for example, the glasses are not the same size as frame, or the mullions are not long enough, or not shown), and when we try to edit the family, sometimes we have the error "constrains are not satisfied"
This is weird because when we change from our custom family to a default family (revit library) they change perfectly....

Can you please upload one of the "target" custome window families here or email it to leoshcn@gmail.com?
From my experience, the most possible issue would be constrain inside the families.
