    Default Wx - Section modulus for calculations of torsion stress

    Hello!

    I am using "Section Definition" option in RSA where it is possible to design new section. I can not find a check box or something, where I could show, that I need the software to calculate Wx value. I want to add all the values calculated by "Sections Definition" to section database for new section, but I can't do it, because I don't know where to get this "Section modulus for calculations of torsion stress (Wx)". I googled for this in internet, but there (for example here http://www.engineering.gr/design/hom...p?table_show=8) is only information about other sections and they are different from what I need. I need this for C section with lips. This is a standard section in AISI database. There already are some sections, but I want to add one more with different size, but I don't have this Wx.
    I would very appreciate any information possible or any guidelines.

    Best regards!

    Ufortunately Wx is not calculated in RSA section definition module.

    Good estimation for any open thin section is:
    Jx = SUM (Si * Ti^3)/3
    Wx = Jx / Tmax
    where
    Si – i-th section part length,
    Ti – i-th section part thickness.
