    Angry plotting in 3d

i have a 3d model with piping and equipment that i need to print in 3d hidden. but when ever i do this it comes out in color. is there anyway to make it come out in black and white? i also tried using the shadeplot set to hidden then it is black and white but some of the lines are missing.

Make sure that your "Plot Style table (pen assignments)" are set to print monochrome
Can be found in the plot dialog box top right corner.

Are you using ACA or AMEP? My understanding of ACA is that visual styles other than 2D wireframe do not use plot styles, but plot with the assigned colors. So unless you set up your view/objects/materials/display/whatever to be only black and white, you will get colors.

You could use CreateHLR or create a 2D Section/Elevation object of your model to generate the hidden line view, then plot that with the visual style set to 2D Wireframe so that you can then use a plot style that prints everything black.

If you are using AMEP, then there may be other factors at play that are beyond my understanding, as I do not use AMEP.

do u plot on the model space? or paper space?...

plot it in paper space...create a viewport...go inside the viewport... set your desired view....go out of the viewport...select the viewport...then right click then...set shade plot to hidden...

make sure that all your pen is set properly then your ready to rock and roll...
