Add/Modify Material Physical Wood Properties

If you open up materials and click on "physical" tab and select "wood" for the material type, you see design values from the Factory for Douglas Fir. Question #1, Can the physical parameters by modified? I want to add "tension parallel to grain" and a value associated with it.

Question #2, then I want to add different grades and species of lumber with design values from NDS. How?

In the location you mentioned (Materials dialog box, physical tab), you can use the Save As...button to create different Wood species/grades types etc. You can then assign then to the specific materail name type. Simply edit the values, do a Save As...to give then a name and done. I don't believe you can add additional material property values...they are hardcoded...but I am not 100% sure. Perhaps someone else will chime in...
