Default Schedule Voice & Data Connectors Seperately

Is it possible to schedule telephone and data connectors separately if they are part of the same family? The out of the box "Telephone - Data:plain" contains a voice & data connector. I would like to be able to schedule the data cabling to the data patch panel and the voice cabling to a telephone backboard.

    Thanks

First, you don't schedule connectors. You schedule families, or instances of families. So, in that sense, no you cannot schedule them separately. However, you can create two schedules, and simply show the fields in each schedule that to apply phone and data separately.

    Have I misunderstood the question?

Add a shared parameter in the family so you can have 2 schedules and filter by that parameter.

This might not be with your standard, but could you just schedule the locations of voice/data outlets, and then have a column for "Voice Cabling" and one for "Data Cabling"?

You might be able to accomplish what you are looking for by scheduling the circuit (system) rather than the connector.
