    Default Splitting a cut plane?

    Hi All,

I have an issue. In a plan view I have two seperate buildings. They are both roughly on the same level. I am wanting to show a roof plan view of one building but a standard plan view with the cut plane cutting midway through the walls etc of the other building.

The only way I can think of doing this is being able to split the cut plane however I'm not sure if this is possible. Does anyone know of any work arounds or solutions??

    Cheers,

    Rory

The solution is built into Revit and is called Plan Region. How it works: On top of your view's main view range and cut plane settings, you can sketch different regions and set it to a different view range or cut plane.

In Revit 2010 you can find it under Views tab > Plan Views > Plan Region.
In 2009 is under the view tab.
