Default Field Problem with 2009 Data Extraction

    Here's the Issue:
Process being attempted: 2009 ACAD Data Extraction being used to create drawing list using the Field which is within the titleblock referencing the file name. This works fine using 2007 Attribute Extraction.
Result within 2009: Resultant list shows all drawing numbers being the same (obviously, all file names are not identical). This is similar to what I've experienced when publishing from 2007 with Fieldeval set at 31 (Setting Fieldeval to 27 fixed that problem).
I tried setting Fieldeval to 27 (which it should have been, but wasn't), but it didn't fix the problem within Data Extraction.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? None of the possible settings for Fieldeval jump out at me as possible culprits.
    Any other possible solutions?
