    Default annotation scale changing

    G'day,
I have been using annotative text for a while now (hoping it will work properly one day) but these changes keep happening.
My text has scales 1:1 and 1:2 set. I close that base drawing, and reload it into my drawings. Now I go back and open the ref drawing again and the text anno scales have changed to 1:1_1 and 1:2_1 or something like that. And because my viewports are set to 1:1 or 1:2 the text wont show up. I change it back and it works, but is a PITA.
Has anyone else experienced this? And maybe know of a cause or fix? I'm using Acad2008 with SP1.
    Thanks

The annotation scales are standard autocad and not map3d functions. What you see as the 1:1_1 scales are the results of the scales being brought in from the xref, that was an issue with 2008 versions later fixed with a hot fix and 2009 versions.

yes, sorry. I just saw the annotation heading and thought I'd whack it here. We haven't upgraded to 2010 yet, as they like to keep us waiting for just a little longer than necessary.
