    Default Alias Editor

I have been working in AutoCAD for years, but this for some reason stumps me. I am using AutoCAD 2005 and for some reason when I type in ALIAS EDIT it takes me looking for the pgp file associated with the editor function. I can browse it in and what not, but say I want to go in and create another short cut, I have to browse it in yet again. Not really important but why all of a sudden is it prompting me to do so. It didn't yesterday or any other times in the past?

    Thanks in advance!

My guess would be (and this is just a guess) that it has something to do with your support search path and AutoCAD not automatically finding your pgp. Is the path your pgp file is in listed somewhere in the support search path?

Whats totally wild is that once I posted that, I thought, what the hell and closed AC2k5 and reopened it. I have not experienced it again! So I have no idea if I did a certain series of key strokes and it just appeared or not, so chalk this one up to the Wednesday goonie!

If all else fails, ALWAYS close and reopen AutoCAD. That fixes probably 90% of the problems I run into.
