    Question Workplane

If I create a workplane by, for example, selecting a face and then then two mid points is it
possible to move this workplane (along with any sketches or features drawn on this workplane) by a specific distance normal to this workplane ?
    Hope this makes sense !!

Sounds like you are selecting a mid-plane which of course will always be mid-plane. Sounds like you probably need to use another method. You can always copy a sketch to another plane and delete the original or simply right click on the sketch and select Redefine and then select the new plane.
All of this is hypothetical without your original file. Attach your file here to make it clear exactly what the problem is.

    Thumbs up Re: Workplane

Thanks for your answer. I'll do a bit more work on it and get back to you !
Another issue. Can you " Copy Feature" a hole ? I right click on the hole feature in the
Browser and no "copy" option is available.
    Thanks

    Smile Re: Workplane

I have got the answer to my workplane question. If a workplane is created by offsetting from an existing workplane by a given dimension, the new workplane and any sketches on it can be moved by selecting the workplane to be moved in the browser, right click, pick show dimension, change to reqd new dimension, hit update and the workplane moves to the new position along with the sketch.
