    Question Lighting Fixture Emergency Circuit

It was our practice to use solid fills on lighting fixtures to indicate fixtures on emergency circuits in AutoCAD.

Please tell me there is some way to do the same thing without a nested annotation family. Nested annotation families won't work with real-size light fixtures because the annotation will scale according to the view scale.

So I'm stuck with symbolic lines, model lines, and masking regions, none of which are going to permit me to fill the region.

    Have I missed anything?

    What about a detail component?

Nested Detail Components work great until you have to place your fixture on a sloped ceiling.

We hit the same problem with panelboards. Our symbol was a solid 20x6 square, and you cant make solids in Revit. We just changed our symbol in the end.

For emergency lighting fixtures, we just put a dash through it.
