project slow-down after enabling worksets

I am working on a fairly complex residential project where nearly all the custom built-ins, stone fireplaces, beams, brackets etc. are modeled. It was working well until I enabled worksets, and the lag time on my commands and regeneration time have gotten incredibly slow. Can anyone help me with this?

Check your network ( LANl and/or WAN ) connection speed, and the hub/switch.

Sounds like now that the large Revit file is being shared over the network, the pipe
speed is causing a performance hit?

Enable the Worksharing Monitor, and check performance.

How big is the file? (200 MB or larger may need to be broken into linked models)

Also, are you still working in that one central file or are you (as I hope you are!) working in a local copy?

Working in local should make things quicker.
