Question .iges surf to .ipt solid

I was able to convert to .ipt but how do I convert a surfed part into a solid? I've done this once before but can't remember.

I posted this incorrectly in the 2009 or below forum just in case you noticed

Before you opened up the files, did you click on the 'Options' button on the Open dialog box?

There's an option to 'Auto Stitch and Promote' which may do what you're looking for.

If the file still comes in as a solid, you may have to copy it to the Construction Environment and do some healing there. Unfortunately, there's no 'one way' to do that.

Do you have a file you can upload?
