Autocad 2009 Tool Palette

Hello everyone,

running 2009, as stated. I made a tool palette for all my custom blocks,
instead of using INSERT, I am trying using tool palettes, for better organization and finding a certain block.

running a 2 gig machine 2 gig's ram.

is it normal for a huge pause each time I try to put a block into a drawing?

you'd figure it would be fairly quick to put in a block from the palette.. but wow. the whole machine pauses for 2 or 3 seconds each time.

any ideas?

think i answered my own question... machine is just too slow.
