    Default Multi-Story Schedule

I am not using Project Navigator, mostly because I can't find a good tutorial on how to use it with multi-story residential projects and I don't have the time to dive into it on my own right now. If anyone has a good source for a tutorial (besides Paul F. Aubin's book) then please share.

That being said I have a two story house I am tyring to schedule. The way I work is I have a drawing file for the first floor and another drawing file for the second floor. I then XREF them into the places I need them (elevations, electrical, etc). The question I have is this: Is there a way to create schedules (room finish, door and window) that include all the objects from different files. If I could XREF them into a single drawing then extract the schedules from that it would be great but I don't know how to do that.

PLEASE HELP, on a deadline on this project!

WOW! I figured it out, property pallet has options to "Scan XREFs".

Yep! Good job figuring it out.

I also do multi story residential and commercial. All project navigator. Take the time to learn it, you'll be glad you did. Once you start doing it, it's really not difficult at all. I taught myself using Pauls book and AUGI.
