Angry hyperlink recent files list getting bigger

Is it possible to clear the recent files list from the hyperlink dialog box. Each new time I access this it takes longer and longer to load the command as the last recent file is added to the list. Is there a variable that controls the amount of recent files ?

I think that you will need to open your
registry and search for MRU (most recently used)
within the AutoCAD entries and delete them from there.
As always exercise extreme care when editing the
    system registry file.

Another option you have that may help is deleting the file that reside in C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\Application Data\Microsoft\office\Recent. Search your hard drive for the target word "Recent". To get rid of the rest of them you will need to go to your AutoCAD pull down menu and select tools/options. Select the "File and Open" tab. Set the "File Open" to 1 and select apply. Close AutoCAD and restart.

To remove the "Browsed Pages" links I use third party software to perform a system cleanup. It was successful in removing all of the entries since they seem to be scattered all over the place.

My department has had the same issues and this is what we have used as a work around.

    Hope it helps!!
